Adam Greenawalt

June 8, 1977 — February 11, 2021

Adam Greenawalt, 43 of Scottdale, passed away Thursday, February 11, 2021.  He was born June 8, 1977 a son of Mark Greenawalt and Donna(Geyer) Holsopple.

Adam was a talented artist who enjoyed painting especially chalk pastel.  He loved riding his quad and his favorite thing to do was gather around a campfire and spend time with family and friends.  He also loved and cherished his pet dog, Lola.

He is survived by and will be deeply missed by his mother, Donna and stepfather, Harry; his father, Mark and stepmother, Mary; a son and daughter, Adam and Amber; four grandchildren; his brother Mark and his fiance, Lori Bungard; two nieces, Kara Greenawalt Tomko (Bryan) and their family Landon and Gavin; Karissa Greenawalt (Tommy Collier) and their daughter, Addyson; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends, and lastly by his sweet Lola.

Adam was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Donald and Mary Geyer and his paternal grandparents, Howard and Mary Greenawalt.

There will be no public viewing.  Adam’s family is planning a gathering with a campfire in his memory at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, Adam would want contributions in his name to help animals by giving to the Humane Society of Westmoreland County PO Box 1552, Route 119N, Greensburg, PA 15601.
