Wayne D. "Troop" Canady, 50 of Mt. Pleasant, passed away, Monday, September 26, 2011 in Excela Frick Hospital, Mt. Pleasant. He was born February 10, 1961 in Williamsburg, VA, the son of Douglas and Ivy (Taylor) Canady of Williamsburg.
He was a laborer with 11th Street Construction and served in the US Army attaining the rank of E-4.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his loving companion, Wanda Wadwsorth; four children, Darrell Brooks, Nichole Washington, Taya Wadsworth and Wayne Canady, Jr; two step sons, Jacob and Nicholas Wadsworth; three grandchildren, Akeelah, Jayden and Adrian; two brothers, Douglas Canady Jr and wife Paulette; Marlon Canady; two sisters, Karen Pamilton and Candice Myers and husband David and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by a sister.
Family and friends will be received at GRAFT-JACQUILLARD FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC. 303 Pittsburgh St. Scottdale, (A Remembrance Provider) on Friday from 4 to 7 pm.
