Walter A. Bennett Jr., of Everson, took his departure from this earth Tuesday, Aug. 16, 2011. He was born June 2, 1963, in Uniontown, the son of Carol J. (Angelo) Bailes and the late Walter A. Bennett Sr.
Walter worked in the paving business and was well-known for his skill. He enjoyed fishing and the outdoors and attended the New Hope Alliance Church.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his children, Ashley, Josh, Lee, Luke, Alesha and Logan Bennett; a sister, Mary R. Magee; cousin/sister, Theresa A. (McManus) Koch; nieces and nephews, Tim, Love, Colton, Mike and Mariah; and great-nieces and nephews, Malik, Nevaeh, Willow, Jazmyn and Jordyn Kokosh.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his sister, Levetta Bennett; grandmother Betty J. (Angelo) Lutz; and four cousins, Kimberly, Larry, Brian and Timmy Malone.
Family and friends will be welcome at 1 p.m. Friday at the New Hope Alliance Church, 229 Pittsburgh St., Third Floor, Scottdale. "From God we came and surely to God is our return."
