Vincent Reagan

Vincent R. Reagan, 70 of Mt. Pleasant, passed away Saturday, December 5, 2009. He was born February 20, 1939 in Connellsville a son of the late Francis and Rose (Barnett) Reagan. Vince was retired from Brown Bovari where he had been employed as a welder. He was a graduate of Scottdale High School and was Catholic by faith. He was a former member of the Scottdale American Legion Post 240 and the Mt. Pleasant VFW. Vince was an avid trap shooter and belonged to the East Huntingdon Gun Club, Ruffsdale Gun Club and the South Connellsville Rod and Gun Club. He was a veteran of the US Army serving during the Korean Conflict. He is survived by two sons, Ronald L. Reagan and wife Aimee of Scottdale and Matthew L. Reagan of New Stanton; two granddaughters, Alexa and Abbey Reagan; two sisters, Janet Urbaniak of Connellsville and Fay Reagan of Everson; a brother, Donald Reagan and wife Anne of Parma, OH; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, James Reagan and Francis Paul Reagan and a sister, Joann Ostrowski. Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service on Saturday, December 12, 2009 at 11 am in St. Mark's Lutheran Church, New Stanton with the Rev. Joseph Veres officiating. Private interment will take place in St. John the Baptist Church Cemetery, Scottdale. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Mark's Lutheran Church, 126 W. Pennsylvania Ave. New Stanton, PA. 15672. The family would like to thank the staff of Medi Home-Health and Hospice who lovingly gave their care to Vince and who were supportive and compassionate to the family; especially Carl, Tiffany, Jackie, Heather, Jessica and Pam. ] Arrangements are in the care of GRAFT-JACQUILLARD FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC. 303 Pittsburgh St. Scottdale (724-887-7110).
