Susan Killinger

Susan J. "Sue" Killinger, 67 of Scottdale, passed away, Sunday, September 16, 2012 in Excela Westmoreland Hospital. She was born December 9, 1944 in Mt. Pleasant a daughter of the late C. Leo and Marianna (Hough) Shandorf.

Sue recently retired from her position as Treasurer for the Borough of Scottdale with thirty-eight years service. She had also previously served as Borough Secretary. Sue was a member of Christ United Methodist Church, Scottdale and was an active volunteer with the Picnic in the Park Committee and the Scottdale Fall Festival. She was a graduate of Scottdale High School Class of 1962.

She is survived by her loving husband, Thomas R. Killinger; her devoted daughters, Aimee Reagan and her husband Ron and Lori A. Bauer and her husband Greg all of Scottdale; her two granddaughters, Alexa and Abbey Reagan.

Family and friends are welcome on Wednesday from 6-8 PM and Thursday from 2-4 & 6-8 pm at GRAFT-JACQUILLARD FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., a remembrance provider, 303 Pittsburgh St., Scottdale, (724) 887-7110, where services will be held on Friday at 11:00 am in the funeral home with Rev. Dennis M. Henley officiating. Interment will follow in the Scottdale Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society at www.cancer.org.
