Stanley "Mousey" Dziurzynski, Jr., 78 of Everson, passed away Sunday, April 13, 2008 in Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital. He was born January 12, 1930 in Everson a son of the late Stanley Dziurzynski, Sr. and Helen Zajac Dziurzynski.
Stanley retired with 39 years service from Duraloy Blaw-Knox, Scottdale where he was employed as an inspector. He was a member of St. Joseph RC Church, Everson and he enjoyed hunting and gardening. Stanley was a veteran of the US Navy serving during the Korean Conflict and was awarded the Navy Occupation Service Medal.
He is survived by his loving wife, Linda (Firestone) Dziurzynski; two daughters, Veronica Trice and husband Dean and Theresa Candupa and husband Jack all of Mt. Pleasant; five granddaughters, Tiffany; Heather; Melissa; Rachel and Trisha; and two great-grandsons, Tyler and Landen; four sisters, Dolores Rega of Cleveland, OH; Irene White of Scottdale; Patricia Brant and husband Ron of Corona,CA; and Alice Rugg of Scottdale; three brothers, Clarence Dziurzynksi and wife Georgia of Albuquerque, NM; Marion Dziurzynski and wife Mary Ann of Greensburg and Eugene Dziurzynski of Scottdale; a special friend and caregiver Doyle Ryan of Everson and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Leonard Dziurzynski in 2002.
Family and friends are welcome on Wednesday from 2 to 8 pm at GRAFT-JACQUILLARD FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC. 303 Pittsburgh Street, Scottdale (724-887-7110). A prayer service will be held Thursday at 9:30 am in the funeral home followed by a Funeral Mass at 10 am in St. Joseph R.C. Church, Everson with Fr. Robert M. Washko as celebrant. Committal services and interment will take place in the Scottdale Cemetery with military honors bestowed by Mt. Pleasant American Legion Post #446.
