Scott A. Emminger, Sr., 59 of Mt. Pleasant, passed away, Sunday, August 4, 2024 in Select Specialty Hospital, Latrobe. He was born March 14, 1965 a son of Eugene and Shirley (Katonka) Emminger.
Scott had been employed by Westmoreland Mechanical Testing & Research, Latrobe. He was a great storyteller and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren sharing those stories. He also looked forward to the annual Idlewild trip with the grandchildren. Scott enjoyed playing video games, watching zombie movies and Gravedigger-The Monster Truck. He grew up in a military family and became very close with friends in Germany.
Scott is survived by his devoted wife of nearly 37 years, Carol (Miller) Emminger whom he married August 14, 1987; his two children, April Bennett and her husband, Bob and Scott Emminger, Jr and his wife, Ashley; his grandchildren, Addison Miller, Ellizabeth Bennett, Allaina Bennett and Ellie Emminger; his sister, Sherry Lee, his sisters-in-law, Lillian Miller, Catherine Wadsworth (Jim), Phyllis Swink (Victor), Marjorie Miller , a brother in law, Kenneth Miller, Sr., as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father and a brother.
At Scott’s request, there will be no viewing or services. Arrangements are in the care of GRAFT-JACQUILLARD FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., Scottdale.
