Samuel W. Keffer, 75 of Dawson, passed away, Tuesday, May 17, 2022. He was born December 15, 1946 in Mt. Pleasant a son of the late Arthur and Mary (Felgar) Keffer.
Sam had been employed by US Steel Irvin Works as an assistant roller. He was a true outdoorsman. He was a 4-H leader for Archery and a hunter education instructor. He was vice president of the Star Junction Fish and Game Club for 5 years where he was also on the trap league.
He is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Judy A. (Lohr) Keffer, his daughters, Kathy Keffer and Kim Keffer, his grandchildren, Felicia Neeld, Samuel Spence and Aubrey Hill; his great-grandchildren, Nova and Sawyer Neeld, River Spence and Aiden Hill; his brother Jack Keffer and his wife Cindy and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Kevin Keffer and a grandson, Josh Buhlar.
There will be no public viewing or services. The family is planning a Celebration of Life to be held at a later date. Arrangements are in the care of GRAFT-JACQUILLARD FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., Scottdale.
