Rosemary Miller

Rosemary Miller, 76 of Scottdale, passed away, Tuesday, Nov. 8, 2022 in Select Specialty Hospital, Latrobe.  She was born April 12, 1946 in Mt. Pleasant a daughter of the late Edward and Virginia (Helkowski) Henderson.

Rose was a devoted homemaker to her family and was a longtime member of the Partner Parish of St. John the Baptist Church, Scottdale.  Rose enjoyed crafts and ceramics, playing cards and games and cherished meals together with her family.

She is survived by her two loving sons, Charles Scott Miller (the late Cherie Janise Miller) and Jeffrey Alan Miller and his fiancé, Kelly; her four grandchildren, Mya Anne Miller, Faith Elizabeth Miller, Brayden James Miller and Scarlet Rose Miller; her nieces whom she raised, Lisa Jurkowski, Susan Ghrist and family and Pam Kuzyck and family, her siblings Jean Semensky (Greg), Kathy Miscovich (Larry Miller), George Henderson (Jean), John Henderson (Sandy), Margaret “Peg” Brothers (Butch), Susan Pletcher (James Werkman), numerous nieces and nephews and her faithful companion, Lily.   She is also survived by longtime friends and neighbors,  who were like family, Tom and Diane Nowicki and their children, Taylor and Grace whom Rose and Bill considered “their grandkids.” her extended family, Janie Groomes and Bobbi and Gary Eicher.   Rose also valued her former neighbors, the late Lucas and Lorraine Meadows.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, William M. Miller (Jan 6, 2018), daughter-in-law, Cherie, and siblings, Edward (Duffy) Henderson, Jane Cuzzupe, Thomas Henderson and Barbara Brooks.

Family and friends are welcome on Sunday from 2-4 & 6-8 pm at GRAFT-JACQUILLARD FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES, INC. 303 Pittsburgh St. Scottdale where Prayers of Transfer will be recited on Monday at 10:30 am followed by her funeral Mass at 11am in St. John the Baptist Church, Scottdale with Rev. Elmer Alforque as celebrant.  Interment will follow in St. John the Baptist Cemetery.
