Robert D. Trout, 59, of Scottdale (East Huntingdon Township), died Friday, Aug. 3, 2007, in Excela Health Frick Hospital, Mt. Pleasant. He was born June 19, 1948, in Mt. Pleasant, and was the son of the late Arnold Trout and Rita L. Werry.
Bob was an employee of Ventana USA in Export and was a member of the Center Bethel Church of God in Alverton. Bob was an avid hunter and enjoyed his boating, camping and fishing trips, especially to Lake Erie. He loved spending time with all his grandchildren. His main priority was to be a wonderful and loving husband, father and grandfather, and he will be sadly missed by all.
In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his stepfather, Willis Werry. Surviving are his wife of 38 years, Donna Keefer Trout; and their daughters, Jennifer L. Trout, of Hunker, Julie R. Miller and husband, Bob, of Castle Rock, Colo., Jill S. Loucks and husband, Jeff, of West Newton, and Jody M. Kepple and husband, Timothy, of Scottdale; his nine grandchildren, Willie, Timmy, Tommy, Mark, Katie, Rita, Ben, Rylee and Joey; and several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will be received from 2 to 8 p.m. Monday at the GRAFT-JACQUILLARD FUNERAL HOME, 303 Pittsburgh St., Scottdale, 724-887-7110. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday in the funeral home with the Rev. Lee Kline officiating. Committal services will be held in Green Ridge Memorial Park, Pennsville.
