Robert J. Beran

Robert J. “Bob” Beran, 77, of Scottdale, PA passed away on Monday, May 4, 2026 surrounded by his loving family. He was born October 18, 1948 in Mt. Pleasant. Son of the late Amos J. and Marie M. (Grossi) Beran.

He is preceded in death by both parents and survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Linda (Ramsier) Beran; son, Rick (Candi) Beran; sister, Debbie (Tom) Hawse; granddaughter, Cheyenne Beran (Dennis Higgins); grandson, Roman (Korina) Beran and great-grandson, Valor Higgins.

Bob graduated from Mt. Pleasant H.S. in 1966, attending Vo-Tech for Drafting. He served in the U.S. Army in Vietnam. He worked as a Global Facility Manager for Kennametal, Inc. He became a Penn State Master Gardener, where he ran the compost garden. He enjoyed woodworking, reading, coloring and cooking. Bob was a member of St. John the Baptist Church in Scottdale, where he fried the fish during the Lenten Fish Fry.

Family and friends are welcome from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm on Friday, May 8, 2026 at the GRAFT-JACQUILLARD FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES, INC 303 Pittsburgh St, Scottdale. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, May 9, 2026 in the funeral home with Fr. Paul A. Lisik officiating. Interment will follow at the St. John Cemetery in Scottdale with full Military Honors with the Scottdale/Everson Honor Guard accorded.
