Michael J. Bartko, 71 of Scottdale, passed away, Friday, June 20, 2014 in Excela Westmoreland Hospital. He was born August 22, 1942 in Versailles a son of the late Joseph and Catherine (Governor) Bartko.
Mike was retired from General Motors, Pittsburgh where he had been employed as an electrician and safety inspector.
Surviving is his loving wife, Mary Jane (Bucklew) Bartko; children, Michael Bartko; Sharon Kelly; Terri Orr and Joseph Bartko (Leslie); five grandchildren, Michelle (Matt); Eric, Bryan, Shanna and Marie; a great-grandson, Noah; and a brother, William Bartko (Nancy)
He was preceded in death by his parents and a granddaughter, Christina.
Family and friends are welcome on Tuesday from 2-4 & 6-8 pm at GRAFT-JACQUILLARD FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES, INC. 303 Pittsburgh St. Scottdale where services will be held Wednesday at 11 am with the Rev.
