Mary Broadway

Mary R. Broadway, 88, of Scottdale, passed away, Saturday, February 5, 2011 at her home. She was born May 16, 1922 in Whitwell, TN and had made her home in Scottdale since 1997.
Prior to her retirement, she and her late husband, Hugh enjoyed truck driving. Following retirement, they enjoyed traveling the US and attending church.
In addition to her husband, Hugh Broadway, Mary was preceded in death by her parents B.T. and Maude Davis; sisters, Martha Odell, Scott, Anita Davis, Josephine Stewart and Doris Austin.
She is survived by her children: Nancy and Michael Miles of Scottdale; Ann and Reggie Prashaw of Phoenix, AZ; Ron and Linda Broadway of Waco, TX; Hugh, Jr. and JoAnn Broadway of Reno, NV; Tina and Sam Weeks of Regan, TX; 21 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild; a sister, Edwina Griffith of Whitwell, TN; and a brother, James "Bubby" Davis of Whitwell, TN.
Services were private with her pastor, Ralph Miller. Arrangements are in the care of GRAFT-JACQUILLARD FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., Scottdale.
