Lillian M. Lint, 89, formerly of Scottdale (East Huntingdon Twp) passed away, April 16, 2009 in Westmoreland Manor. She was born April 15, 1920 in Youngwood a daughter of the late Calvin and Aretta (Ruffner) Hoover. Mrs. Lint was a loving wife, mother grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a graduate of Scottdale High School Class of 1939 and formerly attended Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church and enjoyed country music, gardening, crossword puzzles and helping others and spending time with family. She is survived by two daughters, Lois Harshell and husband William of Latrobe; Nancy Oles and husband Robert of Beaver; three sons, John Lint and wife Debbie of Ruffsdale; Wendell Lint of Kannapolis, NC; and Ronald Lint and wife Sheri of North East, Pa.; a daughter in law, H. Diane Lint of Ruffsdale; 19 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren and a sister, Esther Robbins of Tampa, FL. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Oliver W. "Red" Lint (1974); two sons, Stewart Lint (1991); Charles Lint (2007); three great-grandchildren, Bobby Knupp, Brandy Pravlik and John R. Hall; a sister, Verna Basinger; and two brothers Herbert & Melvin Hoover.
