Kenneth D. Shultz, Sr. 66 of Bullskin Township, passed away, Sunday, May 21, 2017. He was born December 6, 1950 in Connellsville a son of the late Mearle and Gertrude (Ritter) Shultz.
Kenny was self-employed in the construction industry, but held interests in many things. He enjoyed playing cards and watching John Wayne movies, as well as, yardwork at home. He was a Vietnam veteran serving in the US Army and a member of the Connellsville VFW. He loved spending time with his family and grandchildren, especially watching baseball games.
He is survived by his wife, Arlene (Vernon) Shultz; his two children, Kenneth D. Shultz, Jr and wife Carrie and Tina Gower and husband Chad; six grandchildren, Bisa, Kendra, Kenneth III and Kayla Shultz and Mackenzie and Cameron Gower; a sister, Audrey Kasun and husband Cvetko a brother, Frank Shultz and wife Patti; a special brother in law, Rob Vernon; special sister in law, Leah Firestone; his special friend, Matt Baker and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Patty Mellinger.
Family and friends will be received on Tuesday from 4 to 8 pm at GRAFT-JACQUILLARD FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES, INC. 303 Pittsburgh St. Scottdale where his funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 11 am with Pastor Lee Maley officiating.
