Kathy Smith

Kathy G. Smith, 72 of Connellsville, passed away, Thursday, October 7, 2021.  She was born March 12, 1949 in Mt. Pleasant a daughter of the late Thomas and Eva Nelle (Pletcher) Ridenour.

Kathy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She had been employed at Seven Springs Resort, Champion and Woodcrest Senior Living, Scottdale.  Kathy was an active and  faithful member of Pennsville Baptist Church.  In her spare time, she enjoyed interior decorating, antiques and watching Hallmark movies.

She is survived by her loving family, her husband Edward “Smitty” Smith, her children, Michael Siwula (Tonja), Matthew Siwula (Jean) and Dina Norris (Bryan); her step-children, Susan Vaughn (Rodney), Kevin Smith (Jamie), Michael Smith (Nikki) and Lori Frazier (Pete); 15 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant sister, Joann Ruth Ridenour and a brother, Thomas Blaine Ridenour.

Family and friends are welcome on Monday from 4-7 pm at GRAFT-JACQUILLARD FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES, INC. 303 Pittsburgh St. Scottdale. Additional visitation will be held Tuesday from 10 am until the time of her funeral services beginning at 11 am with Rev. Robert H. Bixel and Rev. Dr. Terry V.
