John Smart

John F. "John-John" Smart, 2, of Derry, passed away, along with his mother, Sheila R. Singer, as the result of a tragic accident in Derry of Friday, October, 30, 20009. John-John was born October 11, 2007 in Jeannette a son of Elmer W. Smart of Derry and his late mother, Sheila Lucas Singer. During his short life, he loved playing with his toys and most of all his sisters. He is loved and will be missed by his loving family, his father, Elmer; his four sisters, Ashlie and Samantha Singer of Champion and Mindy and Elisha Smart at home; his maternal grandparents, John and Joyce (Barkley) Lucas of Scottdale and several, aunts, uncles and cousins. In addition to his mother, Sheila, he was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Michael and Jessie Rock; maternal great-grandparents, Willis and Dorothy (Barkley) Knight and John and Jean (Myers) Lucas. Family and friends are welcome on Monday from 5-8 pm at the City Church, 206 N. Pittsburgh St. Connellsville where services will be held Tuesday at 11 am in the church with Pastor Don Smith officiating. Chapel committal services and interment will follow in Green Ridge Memorial Park, Pennsville.
