John Chapman (Bubba) Maddox, Jr of Youngwood, died, April 15, 2024. He was born in Greenville, MS on March 13, 1958, to the late John C. Maddox, Sr and Sybil Burch Maddox.

He lived in Greenville until his dad transferred to California. He eventually moved to Florida with his grandmother, who introduced him to horses, which became his passion. He moved several times working at numerous horse farms which eventually landed him in Pennsylvania. Due to health reasons he was forced to retire. He also loved hunting and fishing.

Bubba was preceded in death by his mother, Sybil Burch Maddox; father, John Chapman Maddox, Sr., sister, Pat Maddox; grandparents, William Russell Maddox and Maud Chapman Maddox.

Survivors include a niece, Chelsea (Alex) Davis; cousins, Terre Gildon, Elizabeth Dugger, Jennifer Berry, Belinda Thompson, Mona Ohl and Gary Standiffer and many friends.
