Harry Jesse Lint

February 22, 1941 — April 20, 2023

 

Harry Jesse Lint, 82, of Glen Allen, VA, formerly of Scottdale, PA (East Huntingdon Twp.)  He was born February 22, 1941 in Mt. Pleasant a son of the late Solomon and Anna Grace Shallenberger Lint of rural Scottdale Pa, passed away peacefully on Thursday April 20, 2023.
    
He was a former member of Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church and sang in the choir for several years.

He was employed by Pritts Feed Mill, Smithton, PA until his Mother’s passing. He then moved to Virginia with his sister Sally. There he was employed by the 1st Baptist Church of Richmond where he met the former Barbara Lee Locks of Richmond.  They married on November 17,1984.

Harry was pre-deceased by his adored wife, Barbara on July 18,2022, stepson Christopher Locks (2019), Father Solomon (1964), Mother Anna Grace (1976), sister Ethel Kelley (2007), and brother Daniel Lint (2022).

He is survived by siblings Sally Sedivy (Edward), Cora Street (Fred), Mary Dyer, brother-in-law Doug Kelley, and stepchildren Debbie and Keith Locks.

Harry and Barbara were loving cared for by Debbie Locks and granddaughters Sierra and Amanda.

A memorial service will be held at Cochran Cemetery, Dawson, PA on May 20, 2023, 10:30 am,
with Pastor Tom Shirer officiating. God loves and receives all who come to Him.
