Gertrude D. Miner

Gertrude D. “Trudy or Tish” Miner, 93 of Everson, passed away, Thursday, May 4, 2023.  She was born July 23, 1929 in Lower Tyrone Township a daughter of the late Frank and Dorothy (Dull) Hough.

Mrs. Miner was a caring homemaker and enjoyed her family, crafts and the outdoors.  She especially liked gardening and flowers, her favorite being roses.

She is survived by her children, Julia Ann Fasulkey (Kevin), Jeffrey Miner, Rebecca Miner (Jim), Kimberley Povlik, Shawn Miner (Mabel) and Gregory Miner; four grandchildren, Ryan Fasulkey (Stacey), Taren Knorr (Gregory), Aaron Povlik and Little Shawn; five great-grandchildren, Alexzander, Isaac, Kaleb, Cooper and Elliott; her sister Rebecca Cottom (Blaine) and numerous loving nieces and nephews; a cousin, Eugene Knox and her cherished pet, Buttercup.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles L. Miner; her son, Michael L. Miner and her siblings, Margaret Galley (Charles), William (Billy) Hough, Donald Hough (Mary), Helen Guest (Sidney), Richard Hough, Ralph Hough, and Robert Hough (Marlene).
