George Smithula

George Smithula, 81 of Scottdale, passed away Monday, July 27, 2026, at his home. He was born on April 20, 1945, in Mt. Pleasant, a son of the late George and Elizabeth (Janesko) Smithula.

George retired from Robertshaw Controls with over 35 years of service. He had also been employed by Mark IV Office Supply, Scottdale. George enjoyed the outdoors especially trap shooting, hunting and fishing.

He is survived by his loving family, his two sons, Steve Smithula and his wife Christina and Todd Smithula and his wife Nicole; two grandchildren, Jacob Smithula and Sydney Beachy and her husband Tyler, and his companion, Jane Reynolds.

In addition to his parents, George was preceded in death by his wife, Toni R. Smithula on August 7, 2016.
