Florence Potoniec

Florence F. (Siwula) Potoniec, 85, of Everson passed away unexpectedly, Sunday, November 25, 2012 at her home. She was born June 22, 1927 in Everson a daughter of the late Joseph and Frances (Stepanic) Siwula. Florence was a loving homemaker and a longtime member of St. Joseph RC Church, Everson. She is survived by her loving daughter, Kathleen L. Frazier and her husband Vincent of Farmington; a sister, Margaret Sandzimier and a brother, Joseph Siwula and his wife Marla all of Everson; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald J. Potoniec. Honoring Florence's request, there will be no viewing. Family and friends will be received on Tuesday from 9 to 10 am in St. Joseph RC Church, Everson where her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 am with Fr. John A. Sedlak as celebrant. Private interment will take place in St. Joseph RC Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
