Eva Jean (Ansell) Hardwick, 85 of Owensdale, went home on October 17, 2010. She was born March 15, 1925 in Upper Tyrone Township a daughter of the late Martin Harry and Gertie Leichliter Ansell.
She was a teacher for many years in West Virginia and Pennsylvania.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother Clifford E. Ansell.
She is survived by a daughter, Gertie Friend and her husband Daniel; a grandson, Paul R. Dillon, Jr.; a great-grandson, Marc A. Dillon; a brother, Melvin Earl Ansell and wife Fran and numerous nieces and nephews.
There will be no public visitation. Arrangements are in the care of GRAFT-JACQUILLARD FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC. 303 Pittsburgh St. Scottdale. Donations in her memory may be made to Fayette SPCA, 215 Rankin Air Shaft Rd. Uniontown PA 15401.
