Etta Lynch

October 28, 1935 — October 29, 2007

Etta Catherine (Miller) Lynch, 72, of Scottdale RD1, passed away peacefully October 29, 2007 at home with her loving family and beloved Duchess by her side. She was born October 28, 1935 in Indian Head a daughter of the late Smith and Ada Patterson Miller.


Etta was a caring homemaker and loving wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed trapshooting, hunting, fishing for trout, camping and crossword puzzles. Etta belonged to the Indian Head Church of God and held memberships with the ATA and the NRA.

Etta is survived by her husband of 51 years, Roy E. Lynch; her four daughters, Betsy Beal and husband Harold of Mt. Pleasant; Susan Lohr of Connellsville; Sherry Orsargos and husband Darrin of Homer City and Jeanne Cavanaugh and husband David of Scottdale; 11 grandchildren, Tony, Bradley and Brandon Beal; Ashley, Allison and Amanda Lohr; Ryan and Jared Orsargos; and Devin, Megan and Shane Cavanaugh; a great-granddaughter, Hayley Beal; her beloved pet, Duchess; the following brothers and sisters, Archie; Willis, Thomas, Euceba and Ruie.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, Argyl, Hal, Ned, Foster, Daryl and a sister, Aldine.

Family and friends are welcome at GRAFT-JACQUILLARD FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC. 303 Pittsburgh St., Scottdale, (724) 887-7110 on Wednesday from 2-4 & 6-9 pm and on Thursday from 10-11 am the hour of services with the Rev. Dennis Arndt officiating. Committal services and interment will follow in Wesley Chapel Cemetery, E. Huntingdon Twp.
