Edward Leroy Wright, 74 of Connellsville passed away March 16, 2009 at his home. He was born August 4, 1934 in Baxter, WV a son of the late Russell Leroy Wright and Sarah E. Youst Wright of Waynesburg.
Edward was a retired truck driver having worked for Atlas Railroad.
He is survived by five sons, Larry Leroy Wright; Michael Wright; Rodney Blaine Wright; Daniel Wayne Wright; and Terry Lee Wright; two step-sons, Robert Lee Horsley and Charles Dean Horsley; two step-daughters, Betty Pequeno and Cindy Slonecker; several grandchildren; his mother, Sarah E. Wright; brothers, Elza B. Wright and wife Elizabeth; Frank E. Wright and wife Dolly; and a sister, Ethel Louise Gump.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth A. (Davis) Horsley Wright on April 1, 1999.
