Duane W. Snyder

Duane W. Snyder, 86 of Connellsville, passed away, Monday, June 16, 2025. He was born on December 13, 1938, in Everson a son of the late Lester and Erna (King) Snyder.

Duane was the owner/operator of Duane W. Snyder Trucking for over 40 years. He was a former member of Owensdale Methodist Church, and he also attended Hickory Square Methodist Church. Duane had an interest in flying and aviation, but leading a simple life suited him best.

He is survived by his loving wife, Nancy; five children, two stepchildren, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Reon Snyder (Georgia) and Darhl Snyder.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter and a sister, Shirley Fenton.

Family and friends are welcome on Thursday from 4 to 8 pm at GRAFT-JACQUILLARD FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES, INC. 303 Pittsburgh St., Scottdale and on Friday from 10 am until 11 am when his funeral service will begin with Pastor Shawn Robbins officiating.
