Dorothy Alberta Springer

Dorothy Alberta “Berty” Springer, 85 of Tarrs, passed away, Sunday, March 11, 2018 at her home.  She was born September 26, 1932 in Tarrs a daughter of the late James Albert and Rose Camilla (Scott) Kunzler.

Berty, as she was known to family and friends, retired from Westinghouse (Powerex).  She was a seamstress and had also belonged to a quilting group.  She enjoyed bird watching and was a member of the Mt. Lebanon United Methodist Church, Tarrs.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard G. Springer; a brother, James E. Kunzler, a sister, Charlotte Simpson and two brothers in infancy.
