Doris Mcmaster

Doris I. Mc Master, 84 of Connellsville, Upper Tyrone Twp.,passed away, Friday, August 20, 2010 in Harmon House, Mt. Pleasant. She was born September 27, 1925 in Owensdale a daughter of the late Ben and Mary Jane Shallenberger Wiggins. Mrs. McMaster was a graduate of South Huntingdon High School and was formerly employed by the Brooks Funeral Home, Connellsville. She was a member of Pennsville Baptist Church and was and avid antique collector and dealer. She also enjoyed cooking. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Thelma Cherry and a brother Benny Wiggins. She is survived by her loving husband, Edgar E. McMaster whom she married September 10, 1945; a son, Barry Lee McMaster and his wife Shirley (Tartal); two grandchildren, Brian and Kevin McMaster and three great-grandchildren, Nicole, Tyler and Macy McMaster. Doris requested no public visitation. A private service will be held for the family with inurnment in the Scottdale Cemetery.
