Donald Bateman
April 15, 1934 — December 11, 2010
Donald J. "Don" Bateman, 76, of Mt Pleasant, beloved husband and father, went to meet his Lord and Savior on December 11, 2010.
He was born April 15, 1934 in Wilkinsburg a son of the late John McGinley Bateman and Anna Franey Bateman.
Don was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Paul and George (Mike) Bateman.
He is survived by his wife of almost 48 years, Neita Edgar Bateman; a daughter, Leslie and son, Donny; a brother James, and sister, Mary Linda Vorpagel and several nieces and nephews.
Don resided at Westmoreland Manor for three years where he was lovingly cared for by his adopted family of A-2 staff to whom we offer our deepest thanks.
A remembrance service will be scheduled at a later date.
