Deborah Weinman, 57, of Tarrs, passed away Saturday, November 13, 2010, after a 28 year courageous and valiant battle with an incurable pulmonary disease. She was born May 13, 1953 in Mt. Pleasant a daughter of the late Homer R. Weinman and Stella Zadora Weinman. Deborah is survived by her brothers, Barry L. Weinman and his wife Jane of Dallas, TX and Timothy H. Weinman and his wife Nancy of Greensburg; sisters, Tammy Fait of Greensburg and Susan Woodmancy and John Seidl of New Alexandria; She is also survived by her pride and joy collection of nieces and nephews, Brian, Shelley, Austin, Makenzie, Nicole, Ashley, Dawn and her husband Jon, Krissy, Michael, Cassandra, Courtney and Nicky. Because of the close knit family, Deborah was happy to have played an integral part in all of their upbringings as children and adults and was so immensely proud of each of them. She is also survived by numerous loving uncles, aunts, cousins and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandparents John and Aileen Weinman of Mt. Pleasant and Stanley and Hattie Zadora of Mt. Pleasant and several beloved aunts and uncles. Deborah graduated from Mt. Pleasant Area High School with the Class of 1971 and attended WCCC where she studied Psychology and lived her entire life in the cozy hamlet of Bridgeport in Mt. Pleasant Township. Deb was the consummate storyteller and keeper of her family history, which she knew by heart and would regale her nieces and nephews of family tales going back to the 1800's. She was an avid reader of mystery and detective stories and an expert baker of all types of confection and desserts. Deb worked in the dry cleaning business up to the onset of her illness.Family and friends will be received on Tuesday from 2 to 4 & 6 to 8pm at GRAFT-JACQUILLARD FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC. 303 Pittsburgh St. Scottdale (724-887-7110). Deborah's life will be celebrated and funeral services will be held at 11 am Wednesday in the funeral home where personal remembrances will be related by Deborah's family and friends.
