David Lewandowski, 53, of Mt. Pleasant, passed away unexpectedly, Tuesday, April 24, 2012. He was born November 18, 1958 in Mt. Pleasant a son of Alice (Beran) Lewandowski of Everson and the late Vincent P. Lewandowski who preceded him in death on June 9, 2009.
Dave was employed as a bartender at the Kosciuszko Club Mt. Pleasant. He was a graduate of Southmoreland High School Class of 1976 and was a fan of Penn State and Joe Paterno. He also enjoyed football and golf.
In addition to his mother, Alice Lewandowski, Dave is survived by a brother, Tim Lewandowski of Scottdale; two sisters, Diane M. Lewandowski and Ray Shandorf of Upper Tyrone Twp; and Carole Lemley of Smithton; numerous nieces and nephews, and his former wife, Holly Lewandowski.
Family and friends are welcome on Thursday from 7 to 9 pm and Friday from 2 to 9 pm at GRAFT-JACQUILLARD FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC. 303 Pittsburgh St., Scottdale, 724) 887-7110 (an Authorized Remembrance Provider) Prayers of transfer will be held Saturday at 9:30 am in the funeral home followed by a Funeral Mass at 10 am in St. Joseph R.C. Church, Everson with Fr. John A. Sedlak as celebrant. Private interment will take place in St. Joseph Cemetery. A parish wake service will be held on Friday at 4 pm in the funeral home.
