Alice Pratt

Alice Rosemary (Hagerman) Pratt, 94, of Ruffsdale, passed away, Friday, March 8, 2013, in Harmon House Care Center, Mt. Pleasant. She was born July 24, 1918 in Dawson a daughter of the late Samuel and Alice Richter Secrest. Alice retired from United Foods with 33 years service where she served as a cook at the Clairton Steel Mill. She was a longtime member of Wesley Chapel United Methodist church where she was a member of the United Methodist Women having served as president and vice president. She was also a former member of the Scottdale Senior Citizens. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Joseph Frank Hagerman, her second husband, George Pratt, an infant daughter, Marlene Gay Hagerman; two brothers and five sisters. Mrs. Pratt was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Family and friends will be received at GRAFT-JACQUILLARD FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC. 303 Pittsburgh St. Scottdale on Monday from 2-4 & 6-8 pm where funeral services will be held Tuesday at 10 am with Rev. Thomas Shirer officiating. Interment will take place in Wesley Chapel Cemetery.
