Alfretta Weaver

Alfretta S. Weaver, 84, of Scottdale, passed away Wednesday, May 14, 2008 in Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital, Greensburg.
She was born December 1, 1923 in Connellsville a daughter of the late Jacob C. and Mattie Mae Biddle Snyder.
Mrs. Weaver was formerly employed by US Casket Company, Scottdale where she worked as seamstress. She was a graduate of Scottdale High School Class of 1943. Alfretta belonged to the Scottdale Church of Christ where she was a member of the Joy Sunday School Class.
Mrs. Weaver is survived by a sister, Delrosa Keefer of Scottdale; nephews, Duane Snyder and wife Nancy of Connellsville; Reon Snyder and wife Georgia of Scottdale; Darhl Snyder and wife Elaine of Mt. Pleasant; Harry Wm. Crossan and wife Connie of Scottdale; James M. Crossan and wife Carol of Latrobe; Glen Colbert and wife Claudia of Shelbyville, KY; and several nieces and nephews of the Albert Weaver family. Also surviving are several great nieces and great nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Weaver (1995); two sisters, Ruth A Crossan and Mildred J. Colbert; two brothers, Lester W. Snyder and Charles M. Snyder; a nephew, Charles Henry Colbert and two great-nephews, Reon Snyder, Jr. and Andrew Colbert.
Family and friends are welcome on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm at GRAFT-JACQUILLARD FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC. 303 Pittsburgh St., Scottdale (724-887-7110) where services will be held Saturday at 11 am with Pastor Bob Chambers officiating.
