Albert Bernstein

Albert M. Bernstein, 87 of Smithton, passed away Friday, December 20, 2019.He was born July 27, 1932 in Brooklyn, NY a son of the late Max and Adele (Michaelson) Bernstein.

Albert was owner/operator of his independent trucking business.  He enjoyed buying and selling machinery and building.  As a youth, he enjoyed playing handball and over the years enjoyed ocean fishing and time spent at the beach.

Albert is survived by his loving wife, Sandra M. (Szep) Bernstein; his children, Anthony (Bernstein) Wohl and wife Sandra, Donna Bernstein, Nina Bernstein and Tanya Boburka and husband Charles; six grandchildren, Morgan Wohl, Taylor Wohl, Abel Wohl, Ethan Bernstein, Halina Boburka and Adele Boburka; a great granddaughter, Neve Singh and his siblings, Laura Bernstein, Beatrice Bernstein and Conrad Bernstein and a nephew, Scott Breslow.

At Albert’s request, there will be no public viewing or services.  Arrangements are in the care of GRAFT-JACQUILLARD FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES, INC. 303 Pittsburgh Street, Scottdale.  Memorials in his name may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital at st.jude.org/donate or to the Prostate Cancer Foundation at pcf.org.  Condolences are welcome at www.gjfuneral.com
