Delrosa (Snyder) Keefer, 96, of Scottdale, passed away, Friday, October 27, 2017 in Excela Frick Hospital, Mt. Pleasant.  She was born April 6, 1921 in Connellsville a daughter of the late Jacob C. and Mattie Mae (Biddle) Snyder.

Mrs. Keefer was a retired school teacher having been employed by the Southmoreland School District where she taught in the Alverton and Scottdale Elementary schools.  She was a 1938 graduate of Scottdale High School and earned her teaching degree from the former California State Teachers College.  She was a member of PSEA, a life member of the Fayette County Association of School Retirees, the PA Retired Public School Employees and a member of the Alumni Association of California State University.  Delrosa was a member of the Owensdale United Methodist Church and enjoyed shopping trips and dining out with family and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Charles Melvin Forrest; her second husband, Daniel L. Keefer; three sisters, Ruth A. Crossan, Mildred J. Colbert and Alfretta S. Weaver; two brothers, Lester W. Snyder and Charles M. Snyder; nephews, Charles Henry Colbert and Glen Colbert; a niece, Shirley Fenton and three great-nephews, Reon Snyder, Jr., Andrew Colbert and Glen Colbert, Jr.

She is survived by her nephews, Duane Snyder and wife Nancy of Connellsville; Reon Snyder and wife Georgia of Scottdale; Darhl Snyder and wife Elaine of Mt. Pleasant; Harry Wm. Crossan and wife Connie of Scottdale; James M. Crossan and wife Carol of Latrobe; a niece, Claudia Colbert of Shelbyville, KY.  Also surviving are several great nieces and great nephews and numerous nieces and nephews of the Daniel Keefer family.

Family and friends will be received on Monday from 2-4 & 6-8 pm at GRAFT-JACQUILLARD FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES, INC. 303 Pittsburgh St., Scottdale where services will be held Tuesday at 11 am with Rev.
